Born from passion for upholstery craft

Be Upholstered Ltd was founded in 2018 by Andy Paval to provide high quality, bespoke upholstery services for domestic and business clients in and around Edinburgh.

Thanks to the quality of provided services and clients’ satisfaction Be Upholstered Ltd quickly earned a reputation of a trustworthy provider of bespoke upholstery services and attracted multiple clients from across the UK.

Upholstery chose me

The story of Be Upholstered Ltd began long before the start of the company.

In 2007 our founder, Andy Paval visited his sister in Greece. What at first seemed to be a holiday trip turned out to be a defining moment for Andy’s passion for upholstery. His sister invited him to visit her workplace at Kopidakis which is one of the top Greek upholstery companies in Heraklion.

From the first moment of seeing what upholstery is about, Andy fell in love with the craft to the point that the following year he returned to Greece and started an apprenticeship as a professional upholsterer which he continued for 7 years.

In 2015 Andy moved with his family to Edinburgh. For the first couple of years he worked for premiere Scottish upholstery companies including Charlotte Jones Furniture and Flawless Upholstery and eventually decided to take his own path and started his own upholstery business.

Andy believes that upholstery found him to be his life passion which he follows with his full heart every day while providing high quality upholstery services for his clients.

Andy’s aim is to grow the company to be able to continually offer top quality bespoke upholstery services to an expanding group of clients in Edinburgh and across the UK.
